Steed Lord is a self sufficient music and visual art collective from Iceland, based and working in Los Angeles. It consists of Kali, Demo and Mega.
On top of producing and promoting three (incredible) albums, they also create all of their own music videos, model, DJ, design and are a part of WeSC's WeActivist program.
Their newest album, The Prophecy Pt. 1 is my favourite yet, and one of my top albums of 2012, but each album is incredible in it's own right. It's a shame they don't receive more exposure, but they do seem to have a loyal cult following. Tour dates are mainly US/Icelandic, but I'm hoping for a couple of shows in the UK at some point this year.
