MUSIC: Pet Shop Boys - Axis

New from Pet Shop Boys! Axis will be the first track on new album Electric, due out July 15th. You can buy Axis now on iTunes.

Click below for the full Electric tracklist and artwork:

MUSIC: YACHT - Second Summer (RAC Remix)

RAC always seem to throw out a really great remix. Usually they introduce me to a new artist, because I haven't normally listened to the people that they remix. Second Summer is a nice, easy track to listen to.

Happy Tuesday.

MUSIC: Willam ft Sharon Needles

Here she is! Willam's back with another song, this time featuring last season's winner, Sharon Needles as RuPaul. RuPaulogize plays on One Republics 'Apologise', and makes it 100x more fabulous.  Willam is still pissed about being disqualified from S4.

Girl, it's too late to #RuPaulogize.
SHADY SHADE.

FASHION MUSIC: Beyonce for H&M

BeyoncĂ© is looking fucking INCREDIBLE in this new ad for H&M. It also features 1:30 of new song "Standing On The Sun", which was written by Sia.

HI-5 H&M.

MUSIC: Kelis - Jerk Ribs

You may have heard a demo of this rolling around, named 'Call On Me'. Well the sneaky bitch has JUST dropped this on her Soundcloud, it's a more polished version of the demo.

Personally, I was looking forward to her developing the sounds of Distance and Copycat... but this is great too! It's good to have new Kelis either way, and this is great to put on in the sunshine! With new promo pictures being quietly put into place, and a song dropped with no announcement... is this meaning new album time?! (third time lucky)

[Flesh Tone is still the most under rated album of the last ten years]

CELEB: Reese Witherspoon Arrested

Reese's booking photo
The 37 year old was arrested for disorderly conduct on Friday after her and her husband were pulled over on suspicion of drunk-driving. While her husband was being tested on the side of the road she got a bit too big for her heels, and was noted as saying things such as "Do you know my name?", and "You're about to find out who I am... You're going to be on national news!"

Girl. No.

MUSIC: Lana Del Rey - Young & Beautiful

Young & Beautiful is a song written by LDR for The Great Gatsby - out May 16th. The song is incredibly beautiful, possibly one of her best in my opinion.

If you pre-order the soundtrack on iTunes, you get a download of the song immediately. You can also listen to the DH Orchestral Version below (EXTRA amazing):

MUSIC: Hard Ton - Rock With U (Eliot Remix)

Hard Ton are a duo from Italy, producing house music and excellent dance tracks. For recent release Food Of Love, they covered Janet Jackson's Rock With U from her Discipline album. Now Eliot has remixed it and given it an even more 90s house sound.

Plus it's a free download

MUSIC: A*M*E for Hunger TV

South London babe A*M*E is really pushing the promo for... everything at the minute. Still riding with a #1 with Need U (100%) w/ Duke Dumont, she is preparing for the release of her own single, Heartless.

Above is an acoustic version of Heartless recorded for Hunger TV's 'DIRTY LIVE' series. Click more below to watch a stunning version of Here by another South London favourite of mine, Syron, and a bonus remix of Heartless by A*M*E.

LGBT ART: The Pansy Project

The Pansy Project is an art project by Paul Harfleet. It could be called 'guerrilla-gardening' as Paul plants a single, un-marked pansy at the sites of homophobic attacks or crimes. Using social media to gather information, he has travelled from London to Manchester, New York to Berlin planting the flower as a form of tribute and a reminder that these things still happen regularly. The flower is then photographed, and titled usually with a phrase from the incident, with "gay boys", "fucking faggot" and  "you fucking queer cunt" just a couple of examples.

Next time you see a lone pansy, just think there may be a deeper reason for it being there.

'For Michael Causer' Michael was killed in Liverpool in 2008
If you have experienced any form of homophobic abuse, you can contact Paul here and here. You can also click more to see his interview on ITV London News and more photos:

MUSIC: VV Brown - Bullet

VV Brown is back. I'll be honest, I wasn't her biggest fan the last time around, but fuck me - this is amazing. The track is with producer All About She and is dark and electronic. It shows a whole new creative direction for babe VVB, real name Vanessa Brown.

The track is released April 29th and will be released as All About She ft VV Brown. Don't worry though, because VV's album is due for release later this year and she has been working with producers who've also worked with the likes of Jessie Ware and Bjork!(!!!!!)

MUSIC: Betty Who EP

Betty Who is a Sydney-born, New York-living gal and she's just released her first EP. Beautiful 80s electro-pop, glistening sounds and a wonderfully amazing voice make this one another One To Watch this year. She'll probably remain under the radar for a long while - like sadly, a lot of excellent acts do. Support her - download her EP.

What's even better, is the free download of all four tracks! www.bettywhothemovement.com

MUSIC: Alyssa Edwards - Drop Dead Gorgeous

I've said it before - and I'll say it again. You may HATE Alyssa Edwards, but you cannot deny that she is HILARIOUS. The amount of soundbites she gave this season... I can't.

B.Ames has done the most amazing remix. Get it on + DOWNLOAD.

There is also rumours that she will be getting her own spin-off... We'll see.

MUSIC: Calvin Harris ft Ellie Goulding

New video from Calvin Harris featuring Ellie Goulding. I didn't rate Calvin's last album, except a couple of songs (Thinking About You), and I Need Your Love. The video is basic but quite fun. And Calvin is looking FINE.

MUSIC: House of Wallenberg

House of Wallenberg is Swedish DJ and Producer Petter Wallenberg and his collective of singers and dancers. Be Somebody features vocals from none other than Paris Is Burning star Octavia St Laurent. The 90s house sound of his tracks are insane! Listen to more below!

House of Wallenberg writes:
"Sadly Octavia St Laurent passed away before the release of this single. To celebrate her memory, the famous vogue houses of New York, spearheaded by House of Ninja, House of Milan and House of Evisu, came together and gave an epic performance in the accompanying video directed by Petter Wallenberg himself. During filming, a homeless man came up and held an improvised speech about the meaning of being somebody, which is featured in it's entirity in the breakdown of the video."

You can download Wallenberg's Legends EP, containing 5 amazing tracks over at iTunes for only £3.95!

MUSIC: Basement Jaxx - Back 2 The Wild

New Basement Jaxx! Back 2 The Wild is a signature BJ track - it's insane. There's tribal horns recorded in Kenya, there's lion roars, there's screaming monkey noises... What more do you need? Vocals are provided by Korean Seoul Sisters Miss Emma Lee & Baby Chay.

"Let's creep with the animals. Let's smell some flowers. LET'S GET NAKED!"

Released today

MUSIC: Elliphant - Make It Juicy

New video from Elliphant! Make It Juicy is a dark tribal track with a killer beat. The visuals are really dark too. I've said it before - this bitch is one to look out for!

MUSIC: A*M*E - Need U (Acoustic)

The beautiful A*M*E has just released this acoustic version of Need U (100%), the recent UK Number 1 with Duke Dumont. Love her!

MEDIA: Lohan on Letterman

Queen Lohan appeared on the Late Show last night, and was questioned about her upcoming stint in rehab. Letterman obviously thought he'd try and put her on the spot, bringing up issues that were not discussed in the pre-interview. The ultimate deathstare comes in between 1:00-1:15. I personally think she's looking amazing and handled this exceptionally well. COME ON HUN.

"I don't think it's a bad thing - I think it's a blessing. Not a curse."

MEDIA: Alyssa Edwards Posters

If you watch RuPaul's Drag Race, then you will know Alyssa Edwards. Whether you love her or hate her, she's undeniably one of the most memorable Queens from across the five seasons - from the iconic faces she pulls when getting her makeup on, down to the most irritating walk she pulls out for the catwalk.

I came across this series of posters on tumblr this week, and they are incredible. More below:

MUSIC: Cassie - Numb

Bad bitch Cassie is back. After a very extended break (minus the gem that was King Of Hearts last year) she is now ready to drop new music. RockAByeBaby is a 13-track mixtape and will be released April 11th, and Numb is the first track to be taken from the collection.

The track is super-chill, laid back and perfect comedown music. The visuals are also surprisingly excellent which I wasn't expecting when I first began watching.

You can read the full RockAByeBaby tracklist below:

hotOctopus FAVOURITE AB Soto dropped his second FAG OUT album today! Following up from VOL 1, it contains more butch beats, sexy lyrics and kunt attitude than you can handle. It contains Hot Boy (watch below) as well as eight new tracks - equally as fierce as his first collection. Spot the perfect Paris Is Burning reference in 'NOTHiN2PR00V3' as well. The beats are dancefloor ready for you to work it the fuck out to, and what's even better is that the release is FREE via Bandcamp

I need AB to get another London date on the go, I've got to see this bitch with my own eyes!

MUSIC: DONKEY - BOSS

DONKEY NYC is a collaboration between DJ Sparber and Mikey Fuentes. BOSS samples none other than Lindsay Lohan's Bossy.

ART: Lindsay Lohan Gets Trashed

Jason Mercier, who you may be familiar with creating a portrait of Honey Boo Boo made from rubbish - has now set his sights on Lindsay. Mercier told The Huffington Post that it took almost 50 hours to create the rubbish portrait of Lindsay and he used everything from CDs (Lins' of course) to Mean Girls collectable nail files. Perfection.

Watch the time lapse below (plus Lohan's HIT Edge of Seventeen):

FILM: Only God Forgives

New trailer for Nicholas Winding Refn's new film Only God Forgives. The film stars Ryan Gosling as Julian an Englishman living in Bankok and is a 'respected figure in the criminal underworld'.

The pair worked together on one of my all-time favourite films Drive, so I have extremely high hopes for this one. If the trailer is anything to go by, it looks like it'll be just as incredible.

MEDIA: Beyonce for Pepsi

So the long awaited Pepsi advert featuring Beyonce is finally here - featuring a clip of new song Grown Woman. (Remember Kelly's 'Grown Ass Woman'.........) It's tribal, it's fresh and it sounds like it's going to smash.

The advert features Beyonce looking at herself in a mirror (what else) and we see Beyonce through the eras.  It all climaxes with words of widsom -"Embrace your past, but live for now".

MUSIC: Slow Knights - Shame Video

The new video for Slow Knights debut single 'Shame' has just been dropped over at SHOWstudio and it's insane! [Watch
Musician Derek Gruen (or Del Marquis to Scissor Sisters fans) and director Edward Paul Quist exclusively release the video for 'Shame', a dark track taken from 'Cosmos', the debut album by Gruen's new musical collective, Slow Knights. The song's emotive exploration of feeling used and rejected is mirrored in the film's strong visuals, which focus on creating a 'cyclical digital prison of fear'.
Click more to listen to the whole album, Cosmos and see more stills from Shame:

MUSIC: Still Corners - Berlin Lovers

Sweet dreampop. Just over 2:30 long but still long enough to enjoy it.
Berlin Lovers will be taken from the London group's upcoming record, Strange Pleasures out in May. You can also click 'more' to listen to another beautiful track - Fireflies.

MUSIC: Hard Candy X LO

Hard Candy have just dropped another mix - Spring Spring - in their Hard Candy X series; this time from German producer LO. It's perfect for springtime and nice for nearing the end of the week. There's a nice mix of bass, house and garage in there. It'd probably feel a lot more 'springy springy' if it wasn't still attempting to snow outside today...

MUSIC: Jodie Harsh for Behaviour

So after only dropping her April Mixtape three days ago, Ms Harsh has dropped another mix - this time for 'Behaviour'. There is no further info or track list as of yet, but it's a nice 90 minute house mix. Give it a listen!

MEDIA: Beyonce for Vogue

Beyoncé. Vogue. What the hell is this? The 'Electrifying' Beyonce - I've seen more life in a morgue. Everything about this is basic - the layout, the colour, the clothes, the pose... Girl....

In other news, B also just dropped a very generous two second clip of something:

WEIRD: My Crazy Obsession - Mermaid

How's your day going? It's probably 48% better after hearing this. Eric Ducharme is obsessed with his mermaid lifestyle (aren't we all). He will appear on an upcoming episode of US TLC's My Crazy Obsession. Roughly three times a week, Eric drives over an hour to a natural spring in Florida to spend time being a fabulous mermaid - much to the confusion of the locals: "came out here looking for some alligators... and saw a tail that I never saw before in a river."

My favourite part of the entire thing is his boyfriend finishing the trailer off with "haters gonna hate".

MEDIA: Emma Watson for British GQ / The Bling Ring

ALL THE POINTS FOR GRYFFINDOR.

Emma Watson will appear on the newest issue of British GQ, looking absolutely FLAWLESS.
The shoot is part of the promotion for her upcoming film - The Bling Ring. The film is based on a true story about a Hollywood crime ring between 2008/2009 who stole an estimated $3million worth of items targeting around 50 homes - including those of Paris Hilton, Audrina Patridge, Orlando Bloom and Queen Lindsay Lohan. It is reported that Paris Hilton will make a cameo in the film, and scenes have been shot in the actual homes. Could this be a more perfect film?

Watch the trailer for The Bling Ring:

MUSIC: Cakes Da Killa - Goodies Goodies

Babe Cakes Da Killa has just dropped his video for Goodies Goodies - obviously a song about getting all up in his goodies. If you like Le1f 's style of music - fun, weed, boys and sex - then Cakes Da Killa will satisfy you.

I know a few of the gay rappers out there at the moment aren't fans of being called 'Queer Rap', but that's exactly what it is. I understand - people like Mykki Blanco, Zebra Katz, Njena Reddd Foxxx and Le1f all fit into the same bracket, and they may not necessarily always rap about 'queer' or gay topics, but their style and artistic approach definitely touches on 'queer' in my opinion. Even if they are just rapping about getting high and dancing in da clubbbbb.

LGBT: Young Boy Protests Outside Pro-Gay Marriage Church

Yet another example of children being brainwashed and abused into leading the same hateful, homophobic and damaging lifestyle that their parents lead. The video was first reported here. I give an award for most horrific parent (I'm assuming it's his parent), to the man behind the camera - occasionally encouraging the child to "preach it", and then "back up" when a member of the Church attempts to give him a hug. You can also hear him saying to somebody off camera - "...shame on you ...you wicked old wretch. Shame on you." It absolutely turns my stomach.
"The Bible talks about the homosexuals -- they're worthy of death... They're worthy of death, and you people approve of them! That's why you're going to Hell without Jesus Christ. You can turn from your sin!"
As well as his anti-gay shouts, he tells "all you un-modest women need to put on some clothes next time!" This boy must be no older than 11, and has been stood in front of a Methodist Church in North Carolina, USA preaching hate to the congregation as they leave their Easter service. The Church made headlines recently after announcing it would not conduct any marriage services until it was able to conduct same-sex marriages - and this is what they now face.

LGBT: Muslim Caller Tells TV Host Gays Should Be Beheaded

A caller of American programme The Call left a presenter in shock after telling her that gays should be beheaded.

'Chris' is a Muslim, and believes that Sharia law should be implemented across the US, and he will fight as hard as he can to put this forward. According to Chris, it is the only way that the 'deviant lifestyle' of the gay community will be 'corrected'. After telling Chris that she believes that beheading is extreme, he then went on a tirade of how she is 'anti-Muslim' and 'anti-Islam'.

Watch the video above.
